2019 Second Quarter | Condo & Home Market Highlights




The state of Florida as a whole saw $9.5 billion in condo sales and $30.1 billion in home sales in the second quarter of 2019. So how did our area do?

Overall, summer has been a busy season for real estate in our area. Compared to the same time last year, home sales increased across the board for the areas of Destin (+16), Miramar Beach/Sandestin (+12), North Santa Rosa Beach (+8), 30A East (+2), and 30A West (+7)Condo sales were split with Okaloosa Island (+19) and 30A West (+19) seeing an increase in condo sales, while the areas of Destin (-5)Miramar Beach/Sandestin (-12), North Santa Rosa Beach (-20)and 30A East (-17) saw a decline in condo sales. 

Our team had an active share in the second quarter of 2019 – closing over $8 million in sales. Needless to say, we've been busy and are continuing strong in the second half of the year!
