Buying real estate is one of life's most demanding experiences, and it is essential to select a real estate team who will take care of all the nuts and bolts of the process. Our first-hand knowledge of the communities that dot our coast will be a substantial asset as we search for the perfect property for you. When you purchase a property, the seller will pay our commission. Here's what you can expect:
PROFESSIONAL CONSULTATION: We know the Emerald Coast! We are prepared to provide you with valued advice in all things real estate.
MARKET KNOWLEDGE: Our knowledge of current trends in local real estate will allow us to target the best areas and communities to meet your needs.
DETERMINING BUYING POWER: We can put you in touch with lenders who will help you determine your buying ability. If you are a cash buyer, then we will determine the best place to invest your hard-earned money for the most bang for your buck.
OBJECTIVE INFORMATION ON PROPERTIES: It is essential to know what is on the market as well as background information. We will assist you in sorting out your alternatives and in determining your best options.
EVALUATION OF PROPERTIES: Considering location, amenities, basic construction quality, home condition, and possible allowances for home enhancements, we will establish if the property you are considering purchasing is priced at fair market value.
PREPARING OFFERS: When you are ready to make an offer, it should be based on a fair and sensible price. A low bid will most probably offend the seller and could limit your chances for negotiating for a reasonable price.
COORDINATION OF THE REAL ESTATE TRANSACTION: The paperwork can be overwhelming. Between the initial offer and the closing, we have substantial due diligence to complete, and some issues will need to be addressed and possibly resolved.
PROBLEM SOLVER: We will be your "go-to" for all aspects of your real estate transaction.
The hallmark of our real estate services is our continual commitment to listen to and be sensitive to our clients' needs, expectations, and concerns. Our mission is to give you Peace of Mind.
The Sold in Paradise Team is ready for summer 2018! We predict it will continue to be a powerful buying and selling season well into the year. How may we assist you? Let us know.

April 2018 Condo & Home Market Highlights
Well into the the Spring season, April was another busy month for our team!
Destin and the surrounding areas are an especially wonderful place to spend spring and summer with the whole family. With the broad interests being met from young to old, Destin is a true family favorite. This simple reason is just one of several that bring so many to own and invest here in paradise.
In case you missed it in our newsletter this month, check out what the data showed from the world's largest vacation rental search engine – HomeToGo.com. Panama City Beach and Destin were ranked as the top two most popular Florida destinations for Spring Break. Panama City Beach saw over $27 million spent weekly on vacation rentals during spring break, while Destin saw over $17 million. Now is the time to invest in paradise!
Our team had an active share in the April market, and are preparing for the busy summer season when the weather and the real estate are hot!
In April we assisted our wonderful buyers in the sales of the following properties:
1571 Meadowbrook Court
89 Matthew Boulevard
4756 Bonaire Cay
We were also able to get the property sold for our sellers at:
1611 Chadwick Lane
We also worked with sellers to get this property on the market:
4555 Barrington Lane (We've already got it under contract!)
In addition, we were able to get several more properties under contract. We'll have all the details in the May Market Report.
The activity this year has been exciting and we're hustling our way through the ever popular spring season. We love staying in touch to keep both our buyers and sellers prepared for the rest of the year, and beyond. This is a great time to perform some due diligence regarding purchasing property. Spring is in full swing – and keeping on top of the market will ensure that you don't miss any deals. We are getting a new influx of inventory daily and there are some great opportunities out there right now. The daily hot sheet has new listings hitting the market every day, so let us know if you would like to receive updates on the market!

Jay Gets Personal: Work, Family, and Life Along 30A
Anyone who knows me knows I'm always on the go. At home I have a full life. Always happy to be busy with my girls Debbie & Kätzchen, and with grown kids and grandkids, life is nothing short of busy. In my work life, which is most of my time, I'm always working hard for my clients. That's something I'm proud of. Needless to say life keeps me on my toes.
"Busy" would describe life for most people you ask. In this day and age we have everything at our fingertips. With the advancement of technology, we've taught ourselves to use up every second of time available and make ourselves readily accessible at a moment's notice. There's nothing wrong with that, and I personally value being in touch. But in being so accessible, do we forget to stop and appreciate the simple things?
This is one reason why I love the area of 30A. It's a place to slow down, breathe, relax, and appreciate. Even the air seems different there. You never feel rushed, even though the area is quite busy. Maybe it's the soft rhythmic pedaling of all the families taking bike rides, the gentle lapping of lakes against the shores, or the constant sea breeze that whisks away all your worries. Whatever it is – it's intoxicating. In every community along 30A you see smiling faces, old and young, and everyone seems to have a story they're happy to share. It's a place where people reconnect, not with their phones, but with each other.
Perhaps the best part of the area is that these communities are broken up by acres of preserves, the natural wonders of the coastal lakes, and of course the beach itself. The fresh air seems to keep it all balanced. It's hard not to leave your worries behind as you trail along 30A and make your way past the simplistic beauty of the area.
30A is a place to remind you to slow down and take it all in, and in the world we are living in... that's pretty special.

March 2018 Sales Market Highlights
With the start of the Spring season, March was another busy month for our team!
For many who own here, it's proven to be a smart and satisfying move to purchase an investment property or second home. The Emerald Coast never ceases to provide a favorite place for young and old, all year round. Destin and the surrounding areas are an especially wonderful place to spend spring and summer with the whole family. From families with small children and teens to adults seeking the ultimate beach getaway, visitors find themselves smitten with Destin’s charms. It's impossible to resist our expansive resorts, friendly small-town vibe, and world-class outdoor activities such as swimming, golfing and fishing. Whether visitors book a dolphin cruise, dig into fresh seafood dinners, or sample the vibrant nightlife – Destin is sure to dazzle. Now is the time to invest in paradise!
Our team had an active share in the March market. We assisted our wonderful buyers in the sales of the following properties:
Sandpiper Cove | Unit 2003 | Destin, FL
Village at Blue Mountain Beach | Unit 513 | 30A
Indian Lake | Unit 256 | Destin, FL
Calypso Resort | Unit E2304 | Panama City Beach, FL (We also had the selling side of this closing!)
We also worked with sellers to get this property on the market:
Seascape Condo Garden Villa | Unit 7D
In addition, we were able to get several more properties under contract. We'll have all the details in the April Market Report.
