2016 Sales Highlights

As we mentioned last month, 2016 was a great sales year for our area. We've gathered the statistics for our favorite areas which highlight home and condo sales in Okaloosa Island, Destin, Miramar Beach, Sandestin, and 30A. Here's what we know about 2016 sales.  

• 30A East led with the greatest increase of active properties with homes up 8% and condos up 6% from the previous year. 

•  Overall, there was a decrease in the number of properties sold by .006 %. While the average sales price went up 4.6%. Meaning low inventory and greater demand.  

• Out of these areas Miramar Beach/Sandestin saw the greatest number of condos sold totaling 514. While 30A East saw 624 homes sold. The total number of homes and condos sold was 3,167.

• The sold volume for both homes and condos in all the areas included in our highlights was up 6.6% totaling $2,062,042,671. 

• The most expensive home in the area was sold in March and is located in Rosemary Beach.
