Where to Watch July 4th Fireworks In Destin





On July 4th, fireworks celebrations will take place all along the Emerald Coast. Below are all the area's biggest celebrations of Independence Day 2019. 


4th of July Celebration @ Rosemary Beach
When: Thursday, July 4th | 7:30am - 9:00pm
Where: Rosemary Beach
Event Times: Bike Decorating Contest & Breakfast @ 7:30am  |  Bike Parade @ 8:30am  |  Field Day @ 9am  |  Concert @ 6pm  |  Fireworks @ 9:00pm

Start bright and early with the Rosemary Beach Bike Decorating Contest & Breakfast followed by the Bike Parade throughout the Town Center. Enjoy an old-fashioned family field day on Western Green with sack races, water balloon toss, games prizes and more. Later in the evening, rock to the sounds of the different decades. And lastly, enjoy a star-spangled fireworks display from the beach. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. 



South Walton 4th of July Parade
When: Thursday, July 4th | 8:00am
Where: Seaside Amphitheater

Join your friends and neighbors for the annual July 4th Parade down Scenic Highway 30-A and concluding in Seaside with even more fun! The parade begins in Seagrove Beach at 8:00am and travels down 30A, ending in Seaside. After the parade, stick around for the awards presentation, face painting and other fun throughout Seaside, Florida. It is the perfect way to kick off your Independence Day!

Off-site parking and shuttles into Seaside are available on July 4th from 5:00am until midnight at the Walton County parking lot in Grayton Beach at Highway 283. Free to ride.



Grayton Beach 4th of July Parade
When: Thursday, July 4th | 8:30am
Where: The Red Bar

Come join in the fun for the annual July 4th parade in the wonderful and funky town of Grayton Beach. Line up on Holtz Ave next to The Red Bar starts at 8:00am with the parade starting at 8:30am. Decorate your cars, jeeps, boats, bikes, scooters, etc. No registration needed and everyone is welcome! After the parade, meet up at Grayton Coast Properties for popsicles, watermelon, and lemonade. It's a Grayton tradition in SoWal! You'll love this little parade with a lot of heart and spirit. Children wear their red, white and blue and jump on their skateboards and bikes. Adults simply add some decor from the previous year's to their car/jeep/truck, sometimes at the very last minute.. then roll down the road with families and friends. Visitors and neighbors are watching from front yards and it's all the very best of small-town fun. As the parade ends, some head straight for the Gulf for a much-needed dip in the cool surf.


4th of July Celebration @ AJ's Grayton Beach
When: Thursday, July 4th | 8:00am
Where: AJ's Grayton Beach

Start your 4th of July festivities at AJ's Grayton Beach to celebrate and watch the annual Grayton Beach 4th of July Parade. AJ's will be serving free hotdogs for parade watchers from 8 - 10 a.m. with a stilt walker soaring over the crowd. The party continues through the day into the evening with karaoke and finishes with I'magene on the main stage.


Seaside July 4th Concert & Fireworks 
When: Thursday, July 4th | 5:30pm
Where: Seaside Amphitheater

Seaside's July 4th Concert features Sister Hazel in the Seaside Amphitheater starting at 7:00 pm with fireworks to follow at 8:30 pm. Sandestin 4th of July BBQ 
When: Thursday, July 4th | 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Where: Baytowne Marina

Come out to the Sandestin 4th of July BBQ at the Baytowne Marina from 6-9pm for a great night of celebration perfect for the whole family! Enjoy delicious barbecue favorites, live entertainment, face painting, bounce house and much more! After enjoying the music, food, and fun, cap off the evening with an amazing fireworks display over the Choctawhatchee Bay. Must purchase tickets ahead of time. Red, White & Baytowne

Where: The Village of Baytowne Wharf

Join Sandestin for its spectacular 4th of July Celebration. Enjoy a day of fun in the sun, then move the family over to The Village of Baytowne Wharf for an evening of family activities and that lights up the sky at Red, White and Baytowne from 6-9pm. The Village of Baytowne Wharf will have a host of kids activities, including kids' crafts, face painting, and balloon sculpting. Live music will be performed on the events stage. 4th of July Concert & Fireworks at Alys Beach
When: Thursday, July 4th | 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Where: Alys Beach Amphitheatre

Celebrate Independence Day at the 4th of July Concert and fireworks to be held in the Alys Beach Amphitheater. Live music by Rhythm Nation from 6-8pm followed by a fireworks show. Bring blankets, low back chairs, and your favorite beverage and grab a spot on the amphitheater lawn. Food and beverage will be available.


HarborWalk Village 4th of July Celebration
When: Thursday, July 4th | 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Where: HarborWalk Village
Entertainment: 7:00-9:00 | Eli Hannon and The Manly Hero 9:00 | Fireworks Show over the Destin Harbor 9:30 | Firespinning

Join HarborWalk Village for their 4th of July Celebration on Thursday, July 4th from 7-10pm. Wearing your most festive attire, prepare yourself for a day of fun and great drink specials along the world famous Destin Harbor.


Star Spangled Spectacular Fireworks @ Pier Park
When: Thursday, July 4th |  9:00pm
Where: Pier Park in Panama City Beach

Celebrate Indepe the largest fireworks display on the Gulf Coast. Each year there are dueling fireworks from the City (Russell-Fields) and County (MBMiller)Piers. Pier Park is a popular place to view the fireworks show starting at 9pm. Grab a choice spot and enjoy the show! Head to the rooftop at The Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House for a front row seat. Or stroll the streets for a fun night of shopping, entertainment, cocktails and dining at Pier Park located on Front Beach Road.



4th of July Celebration at Fort Walton Beach Landing
When: Thursday, July 4th |  4:00 - 10:00pm
Where: FWB Landing Park


The event is free to the public and includes kid activities, live music, and fireworks show. Festivities kick off at 4 p.m. with an opening ceremony featuring a welcome from Mayor Dick Rynearson, a presentation from the Fort Walton Beach Police Department Honor Guard, Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem will take place at 5 p.m. The Pensacola band Horseshoe Kitty will begin at 4 p.m. followed by Miles Flatt from Mississippi at 6:30 p.m. A Kid Zone area featuring bounce houses, inflatable slides and games will also be available, all for free. A firework display with a musical background will take place over Santa Rosa Sound at 8:45 p.m.! Concessions will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

May 2019 | Condo & Home Market Highlights





May was a fantastic month for real estate along the Emerald Coast!

With the rush of visitors in town for Memorial Day Weekend, May is always a busy time for real estate.
While here, vacationers fall in love with the area and decide it's time to make owning paradise a reality. We love assisting people in making this move!

Emerald Coast Events | June 2019

With summer coming this month, there's so much to do! June is full of fun events and family-friendly activities! From fishing tournaments, to movies, to summer parties – there's a lot of fun to be had. We've listed a few of our favorite happenings below. Plan a weekend to visit, or if you're lucky enough to be local, enjoy it all!  


FESTIVALS & HAPPENINGS:


When: June 13-16th
Where: The Bay
Description: Thursday, June 13th 
The tournament kicks off with a Captain's Dinner & Fishing Seminar held at The Bay from 5:30-7pm. Angler's join us to hear from local inshore charter captain, Hunter Ray! $10 per guest which includes dinner & one beer. 
Friday, June 14th 
On Friday, the Father's Day Weekend Sale begins at Bay Baits. 25% off ALL ITEMS offered to all registered anglers and 15% off to everyone else. 
Saturday, June 15th 
The tournament kicks off at 6am and will continue until Sunday at 6pm. Weigh-ins will be at The Bay Restaurant beach from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Sunday at the end of the tournament. The awards presentation will be at 7pm. 
Sunday, June 16th 
On Father's Day, the tournament ends with a Father's Day celebration and after party at The Bay Restaurant from 4pm to 8pm! 

This event is open and free to the public. Live music will be performed by The Shakedown and free beer will be flowing courtesy of Grayton Beer Company for all anglers with a drink ticket! If you are also signed up as an adult angler, you will receive a $20 gift card to The Bay included in the price of your tournament fee. Sunday Funday 
When: Sunday, June 16th | All Day
Where: AJ's Grayton Beach
Description: AJ's is the place to be to celebrate all things Sunday Funday in Grayton Beach! Come for brunch, stay for the music and dancing. Several of SoWal's favorite local musicians rock the beach bar beginning at noon playing your favorite hits mixed with originals that keep the dance floor full until 1am. Visit their Facebook page for all their happenings!


Beer & Braids For Father's Day
When: Sunday, June 16th | 1:00pm
Where: Fish Out of Water @ WaterColor
Description: Dads and daughters make your way to Fish Out of Water and enjoy a day of beer and braids! The fun begins at 1pm on Sunday, June 16th. Learn to braid your daughter's hair while sipping on a local craft brew. Sponsored by local 30A brewery. Open to the public. $45+ per Dad and includes food, beverage, and braid instruction. $22.50 per child (12 and under) and includes food and beverage. When: Sunday, June 16th | 1pm-10pm
Where: The Gulf Restaurant on Okaloosa Island
Description: Come celebrate all the dads out there at The Gulf! There will be plenty of crawfish, a beer keg hunt, and drink specials. $20 for 2 lbs of crawfish or $28 for 3 lbs of crawfish. To participate in the beer keg hunt sign up before 12 PM, the hunt starts at 1 PM. Description: The 17th annual Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic takes place June 19-23, 2019. Timed to coincide with the peak of the Gulf Coast’s blue marlin season, and located at the South’s number-one ranked resort destination, the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort sets the new precedent for world-class sportfishing tournaments. This annual event offers something for everyone. Most importantly, for the angling teams, there’s the deep blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, red-hot billfish action, and cool green cash. While on-shore, both the teams and their families can enjoy the wide variety of recreational activities offered at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and The Village of Baytowne Wharf. The spectacular nighttime weigh-ins are held at the Baytowne Marina at Sandestin and are open to the public. The competition takes place in one of the most productive fisheries in the United States. In the past several years two blue marlin “Granders” (blue marlin weighing over 1,000 lbs.) have been weighed in the Gulf, and state records for blue marlin and both bluefin and yellowfin tuna have been broken.
